The primary aim of the ACC team is to plan the scientific and clinical content of the BBTS Annual Conference. In addition the ACC Chair will oversee the BBTS input into the annual BBTS/UKNEQAS meeting by liaising with the Chair of our Blood Bank Technology SIG.
The ACC committee will also be involved in the Society's future plans for virtual conferences and events.
To continuously input into the scientific programme of future conferences by developing programme content and identifying and discussing relevant speakers and themes.
To ensure that the scientific programme is representative of the membership of the BBTS.
To contribute ideas and potential developments to the Annual Conference by feeding back information and materials from other scientific meetings and conferences that Committee members may attend.
To co-ordinate the abstract selection process.
