Chaired by Council Member Dr Nelson Osaro the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Committee was founded in Autumn 2020 and officially established by BBTS Council in July 2021. The BBTS recognises the diversity and difference that exist within our Society and the people we represent including blood donors and patients. The Society is committed to meeting the needs of the diverse groups within the society. We shall continue to promote inclusive practices in our interactions with all our stakeholders in the society irrespective of their; age, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, mental or physical disability, race, religion/belief, sexual orientation and social economic status.

Each committee is made up of BBTS members from a variety of backgrounds, job roles and specialisms, working together to steer the direction of the society. Committees report to BBTS Council and assist the BBTS office in delivering our objectives. |
