What is Higher Specialist Scientific Training?

HSST is work-based training and study at doctorate level for Biomedical Scientists to enable them to practise at consultant healthcare scientist level.  

Entry will not require HCPC registration as a Clinical Scientist and Biomedical Scientists will be able to complete the programme with their existing HCPC registration More information

The BBTS Specialist Certificate in Transfusion Science Practice is now accepted as equivalence for those who do not hold the IBMS Diploma.
