Fees and Finance

The full cost of the programme is £891. The deposit is due by 31st July each year. 

Please note
  • Non-payment/ late payment of course and/or BBTS membership fees will result in your suspension from the programme
  • Persistent non-payment of fees may result in your course place being rescinded
Course Fees include: 
  • a personal copy of the following text books:
    • All Blood Counts. Thomas, Thompson and Ridler (1st Edition)
    • Haematology and Immunology. Gargani (4th Edition)
  • access to student-only online resources 
  • the examination fee
  • one resit fee (if required)
Additional fees: 
  • All students must be BBTS members 
    • on application throughout the programme (including any deferral period) 
    • at examination
  • All travel and accommodation expenses associated with the course are the responsibility of the student

Self-funded
Initial Deposit of £178.20 (payable by debit/credit card) followed by 3 Instalment* payments of £249.48 (payable by debit/credit card/cheque) - Total to pay £926.64* includes additional administration fee.  

OR

Initial Deposit of £178.20 (payable by debit/credit card) followed by a full remaining balance payment of £712.80 (payable by debit/credit card/cheque) - Total to pay £891

Employer-funded

Initial Deposit of £178.20 (payable by the applicant via debit/credit card and reclaimed from employer as required) followed by a full remaining balance payment of £712.80 (payable by debit/credit card or invoice) - Total to pay £891

All deposits are non-refundable.

Payment Dates for Programme:  

All applicants:
Deposit  (£178.20)   -  31st July   (deposit to have been paid by individual, and reclaimed from employer as necessary)

Self-funded:
Instalment 1 (£249.48 ) – 14th November 

Instalment 2 (£249.48)  – 31st January 

Instalment 3 (£249.48)  – 30th April 

Employer-funded:
Full remaining balance (£712.80) – 30th Sept 20
