This qualification is designed for healthcare practitioners working in a transfusion laboratory environment (e.g BMS, MLT or equivalent.) Students will follow a 12 month guided distance learning programme, accredited by The University of Manchester (45 level 7 credits). Resources include online tutorials and updated study book. BBTS membership is required at application.
This programme is for healthcare scientist staff working within stem cell laboratories or those who have an interest in stem cell or bone marrow transplantation and who have * access to a stem cell laboratory is a requirement of eligibility

This qualification is designed for UK Nursing and Midwifery registered professionals and Health and Care Professions Council registered Biomedical Scientists working in transfusion in a hospital clinical environment, a hospital transfusion laboratory or blood establishment/ centre.
